May 10th 2017 - Stryker held the grand opening of a global technology development center and centralized additive technology manufacturing hub located in the IDA Business & Technology Park in Carrigtwohill, Cork, Ireland today.
 
Stryker’s investment in additive manufacturing began in 2001. Since then, Stryker has collaborated with top PhD programs at leading universities in Ireland and the United Kingdom to industrialize 3D porous printing for the healthcare industry. Additive manufacturing allows Stryker to address design complexity and deliver reproducibility of porous materials and manufacture previously unmanufacturable geometries.
