DUBLIN – May 4, 2023 – Global law firm Squire Patton Boggs has opened for business in Ireland with a new Dublin office led by managing partner and leading corporate lawyer Dennis Agnew. The firm announced it is planning to hire 50 employees in the coming years. Squire Patton Boggs is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland. 

The firm celebrated its new office opening with a launch party held at the National Gallery on 3rd May. The event was attended by dozens of senior executives from Irish and international companies and financial institutions, as well as partners and senior leaders from across Squire Patton Boggs’ global offices.

Squire Patton Boggs’ Dublin office will offer highly specialized corporate and transactional legal services, particularly M&A and private equity, backed by the full range of ancillary legal support. The inital team, which includes recently hired corporate and private equity partner George Kennedy, will focus on assisting domestic and international companies on a diverse range of cross-border matters.
