IDA Ireland’s Emerging Business Division, the section of the Agency specialising in attracting high-growth companies, continues to win high-value jobs in IT, internet and digital media.

In recent years, IDA Ireland has broadened and deepened its approach to look towards embracing not just large multinational corporations (MNCs), but also working with high-growth companies, who aspire to be the MNCs of the future. This focus is part of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs.

Today’s announcements are the result of IDA Ireland’s new policies in this area.

Making the announcement, An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD said: "I told the Dublin Web Summit that Ireland is one of the most exciting places in the world to build the enterprises of tomorrow and I'm delighted to welcome eight exciting and vibrant companies to Ireland to do just that.  The creation of 400 new jobs by these digital pioneers is fantastic news for Ireland and further adds to our reputation as a location for emerging companies.  The Government's priority is securing the economic recovery through job creation and continuing to provide a great environment for high-growth companies to expand."
