SANNE obtains fund administration licence and continued growth in Dublin and new jobs as a result
1st December 2017, Dublin- SANNE has today announced that it plans to grow its presence in Dublin by developing a fully integrated client services offering that includes fund administration, financial reporting, company secretarial and management support services. Given this new development it is expected SANNE’s Irish operation will continue to grow in size and mean a focus on new recruitment from within the local Dublin employment market. The company which is based in Dublin has the capacity to accommodate 100 executives with recruitment already underway.
SANNE has recently been granted a full Fund Administration licence under the Investment Intermediaries Act (IIA 1995) by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Welcoming the announcement, the Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen T.D. said “Sanne’s expansion is a great announcement for Dublin and the IDA and adds to the existing hub of financial services companies in Dublin. I welcome the creation of the additional jobs in their Dublin Office. Ireland remains a committed member of the EU, benefitting from the many advantages that EU membership brings, including bilateral trade agreements with 3rd countries providing market access opportunities and a common predictable legal and regulatory framework. I'm confident that Sanne will have no difficulty sourcing the skills you require and I look forward to watching your company grow in the coming years.”
Conor Blake, Director in SANNE’s Dublin office said: “We are delighted to have received our fund administration licence from the Central Bank of Ireland. Since 2015, we have been focusing on growth through both organic growth and through strategic acquisitions which saw us move into our Baggot street offices at the end of 2016. A year on, we are continuing to realise our growth aspirations with further recruitment expected in the coming months and as we move into 2018.”
Martin Shanahan CEO of IDA Ireland said: “SANNE’s commitment to establishing an operations centre in Ireland is an important endorsement of the fund servicing and alternative investment fund industries present here in Ireland. Dublin is home to a thriving cluster of companies active in managing and servicing investment funds. I wish SANNE every success going forward and look forward to welcome future growth announcements.”
