Last month, an article appeared in the San Jose Mercury News highlighting some of the latest tech companies to establish here including Airbnb, Yelp and Survey Monkey who have all announced new jobs and offices here in Ireland in what the paper calls the “third wave” of tech companies moving their operations here.

IDA Ireland’s own vice-president Rory Mullen said in the piece: “Now what you're seeing is much smaller companies (that) at a very early stage decided they needed a European presence."
