Press Release 08 Apr 2014

8 April 2014 - TODAY’S announcement that Eli Lilly are beginning a new recruitment campaign to hire 100 people is very positive news for the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland.

This recruitment campaign follows recent announcements in the pharma space by companies like Regeneron (Limerick), Alexion (Dublin) and BioMarin (Cork).

Pharmaceutical companies like Eli Lilly continue to choose Ireland for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons is the world-class pharma infrastructure we have in place in Ireland.

One of the jewels in the crown of the pharma industry  in Ireland is the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT).

NIBRT is funded by the Irish Government through Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

NIBRT is a world-class institute that provides training and research solutions for the bioprocessing industry in Ireland.

Located in a new, world class facility in UCD Dublin, NIBRT is built to closely replicate a modern bioprocessing plant with state of the art equipment.
