IDA Ireland Welcomes Stripe’s Plans to expand Dublin Office with its first international Engineering Hub

5th February 2018, Dublin – Technology platform Stripe has today announced plans to expand its Dublin office, adding dozens of engineering positions over the next few years.

The move will make its European Headquarters in Silicon Docks its first engineering hub outside of the US.

Welcoming the announcement CEO of IDA Ireland Martin Shanahan said: “This is a very exciting time for Stripe. They currently employ around 100 people in Ireland and I am delighted that it is their intention to significantly scale the business here in the coming years. With a highly skilled workforce Ireland is the ideal location for tech companies like Stripe who are looking to grow their business and access the European market.

“It was also very promising to learn that Ireland’s emergence as an innovative and leading global technological hub was a determining factor in Stripe’s decision to expand their operations here.
