Barry O’Leary, CEO of IDA IRELAND will be meeting with current and future investors in Ireland throughout the Summit.

“Selling Ireland is a team effort - having international stars like Bono around to promote Ireland as a location for investment helps us greatly,” said O’Leary.

IDA Ireland will be conducting a series of investor meetings in Davos, where 2,500 of the world’s business leaders, politicians, technology pioneers and academics have gathered.

Companies attending the Summit fall into IDA Ireland’s target sectors which include, pharmaceuticals, technology and financial services - amongst others.

“Many of the executives attending already have already made the decision to locate parts of their business to Ireland. IDA Ireland will be using the opportunity to remind these Global CEOs of the advantages of doing business in Ireland, as well as targeting companies that have yet to discover the value that Ireland can add to their business,” said O’Leary.

The theme of this year’s Davos Summit is “The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business”.
