30 jobs to be created by Allianz Worldwide Care

Barry O’Leary, CEO IDA Ireland, today welcomed the fact that award winning international health insurer Allianz Worldwide Care has announced the creation of 30 new jobs at its headquarters in Park West Business Campus, Nangor Road, Dublin 12. The company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz SE, provides private medical insurance to locally based and expatriate employees, private families and their dependents, wherever they are in the world. The company currently employs 250 staff at its West Dublin headquarters, with a further 25 based in regional offices.

The new jobs are within the company’s Finance and IT departments, plus there are a range of multi-lingual Operational roles to be filled, required to support a client base which spans over 150 countries. “We’ve had an excellent start to 2010” says Claire Cusack, Head of Human Resources, “these new job opportunities have arisen as a direct result of new business acquired, so that we can continue to deliver market leading service levels to our clients. In light of the current economic environment, we are delighted to be in a position to increase staff numbers”.
