Microsemi Ireland

Microsemi Ireland, based in Ennis, County Clare currently employs 260 people. Microsemi has invested more than $25million in the Ennis facility over the last number of years. Microsemi's Ireland subsidiary has been in Ennis since 1992, when the corporation acquired a Unitrode facility that had originally set up in Ireland in 1979.

In a recent interview, Jim Peterson, President and CEO of Microsemi Corporation stated "We have had great success here. The work ethic is great, the education is great, the logistics are fantastic and we think what else can we put into the Ennis facility? It is a proven success."
