Dr. Steve Collins
Dr Steve Collins co-founded Havok, the well known Irish gaming firm in 1998. Havok was acquired by Intel in September 2007 for $110 million.
Steve re-joined the School of Computer Science and Statistics as a senior lecturer at Trinity College Dublin where in 2007 he started the MSc in Interactive Entertainment Technology course in Trinity College Dublin. Most recently, along with Hugh Reynolds he has set up another technology company, New Game Technologies. In this interview, Steve talks about the business and research environment in Ireland.
