  • Google conducts Customer Support, Shared Services and Data Hosting activities

    Google Ireland established its EMEA Head Quarters in Dublin in 2003. The headquarters grew rapidly, out-pacing its original expansion plans and now carries out the following activities: A site reliability/engineering team supporting Google’s European hosting and search activities; Multilingual customer support for Google’s AdWords advertising product; On-line relevancy testing and Google product support; Shared Services to support Google’s EMEA operations.

  • AOL is engaged in Research and Development and Shared Services activities

    AOL currently employs over 150 people within these 2 distinct operations based at Citywest Business Campus, Dublin.

    Business Systems: The business systems team is responsible for billing, marketing support and report/registration systems for primarily European markets.

    Applications R&D: The R&D centre has responsibility for a number of different core products for the US and European markets including the main search AOL product.
