The Industrial Products and Services Sector in Ireland ranges from companies in the automotive sector and aerospace industry to those operating in mechanical and electrical engineering, fluid components, process equipment and materials handling. Key Activities
One of Cameron’s primary activities in Ireland is high value manufacturing. In 2008 the company announced a further expansion of its manufacturing facility in Ireland’s Midlands investing €15 million in engineering and support activities.
ThermoKing is a manufacturer of transport refrigerators based in the West of Ireland. The company was taken over by Ingersoll Rand in 1997. Recent innovations within the production process at ThermoKing have resulted in the addition of higher value added functions.
Pauwells Trafo manufactures distribution and wind transformers for Western European markets and has had operations in Ireland for thirty years. It recently announced a €12 million expansion of its manufacturing facility into higher value products and new markets. With a 35% market share, Pauwells is the major supplier to European wind turbine manufacturers.
